The Idiot

The number of As and Bs is variable. A current favorite is AAB. Sometimes we'll put slow capers in the B part.

Trunkles

We play this with a bit of a swing, so even though I wrote this with even eighth-notes, it ends up sounding syncopated.

When it’s played for the dance, it’s
AA BBB with slow capers on the 2nd half of the B the 2nd and 3rd times through.

We generally just play the tune, but there's also a morris dance to it. And yes, it's in three, which makes it weird even for a morris dance.
