Another set from the Committee Band.
Another set from the Committee Band.
A tune by Niall Kenny who said he wrote it in a Breton style. Seem to work as an An Dro, a schottische, or a reel depending on how it is played. Notation in Em, but could work in Gm on pipes or gurdy.
A couple of schottische by Naragonia, a Belgian duo (& sometimes a quartet).
Here is a video with Gregory Jolivet
and a studio version:
Fond the score online and it seems correct. Will probably trim into a straight A & B of each tune format at some point.
by Frédéric Paris
one of those tunes I know when someone else starts it, but can never remember to play.
Have been playing it it G , but D is good too. Probably good practice to learn it in both(if one's instrument allows it)
A schottiche by Frederic Paris. Fun to play
This is a version of La Sansonette by Dominique Forges. It is different from the gaita version, and from the standard hurdy-gurdy version.
Another tune by the chap that wrote Mr Cunningham's Maggot and which pairs well with that tune. Here is a you tube of them together:
The above version is on a B-flat / E flat melodeon.
However there is a version on a G/C box here:
And, in what looks like a singular blog post, the sheet music:
