This is a tune out of Playford. The Pranksters use it for the dance Whirligig, which is also from Playford but has a much less fun tune. It's written here in Dm, but when they play it for the dance, they play it through in Gm, then Am, then Dm. It's especially odd because the transition happens after the A part.

Nice tune. When you say "the transition happens after the A part" do you mean the key changes happen on the B part?
They play the tune through a few times. Then, when the dance progresses or gets to some transition point (clearly I don't remember the dance very well, but I do remember I really liked it) they change keys. At that point, they've just played the A part twice. So they play the A part twice again, in the new key.
