Tumbalalaika

Depending on who you ask, this was either written by Henry Lefkowitch or traditional. In any case, this transcription is Forest's, and the chords come from Jessa and Daria.

Daria also gives alternate chords for the B part: Em, Em, D7, D7, D7, C, D, Em.

I came across the tune as Valse Israëlienne. There's a song with a very similar melody called Tumbalalaika or Czumbalalajka, but the web doesn't seem to know whether Henry Lefkowitch wrote it, arranged versions of it, or simply cataloged it, or whether the song and tune were even created at the same time. (I'll have to forgive the web; it is pretty young, after all.) The melody is also used in a song by Benny Hill called Anna Marie.
